Martin Barkdull Died in Cokeville
Word reached the valley last Tuesday evening that Martin Barkdull of Fairview had died in Cokeville that day. Martin has been feeling rather badly for some time and went to Cokeville last week intending to receive medical attention, altho his condition was not considered serious. It was a severe shock to hear of his death Tuesday. The doctor reports that he died of sugar diabetes.
Martin was well known both in Fairview and Smoot, his home being about midway between those two towns. He has been a resident of Star Valley for a long time and has made many friends who were grieved to learn of his death.
He leaves a wife and young baby who have our heartfelt sympathy.
The funeral services will be held in Smoot tomorrow and will be buried in the Fairview cemetery.
