Dorothy Emily Adams Beede passed away surrounded by family members at her home, just two months shy of her 100th birthday.
She was welcomed into this world in Ogden, Utah on October 17, 1908, the ninth child of eleven born to William Henry and Wilhelmina Reed Taylor Watson Adams.
In 1929, Dorothy married David W. Beede. They raised three children, William "Bill" David (deceased) Barbara Ann (deceased) Briggs. They celebrated 63 years together before David passed away on December 15, 1992.
Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for Madsen Furniture Company. She then went to work at 20th Century Sportswear as an executive secretary. In 1954, she opened her own business, Dorothy's Juvenile Shop, in Roy.
She is survived by her daughter,16 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 40 great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are one sister, Eva Youngberg and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
