Patrick Henry Causey was the son of Israel Causey and Margaret Foyle. Israel was the son of Ezekiel and Elizabeth Clary.

Patrick was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Civil War. He enlisted on March 4, 1862 in Company "K", the 41st Regiment in Campbell County. They were called the Campbell Salt Springs Guards. Patrick died just one month after muster in Chattanooga Tn., April 7, 1862.
