Thedore {Ted} Anderson Allen

TREM0NTON – Thedore (Ted) A. Allen, 76 died Friday, March 16, 2007 of cancer. He was born January 28. 1931 in Tremonton, Utah, the son Robert Roland Allen and Amy Ruth Anderson. He marred Dixie Nevada Larson in the Salt Lake Temple.

Ted lived his entire life in the Tremonton area where he was a faithful member Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War. Ted was called to serve a mission for the LDS Church to the Southern States 1956-58. He loved his family, religion, his community and served them well.

He is survived by his wife, Dixie; children, Nelladet Stettler, Kaysville; Robert Allen, Pocatello, lD; Maurie Tarbox, Kaysville; Kari VandeMerwe, Logan; Cameron Allen, North Ogden; Casey Allen, Tempe, AZ; Jared Allen, Ogden; a very special neice, Sunny Peery, Kaysville; 19 grandchildren; sisters, Carol Sorenson, Velva Lee Rose, Clyda Lindsay; brothers, Darwin Allen, Clair Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 19, 2007 1 P.M. at the Tremonton Third Ward LDS Chapel, 9590 N. 6800 W. Friends may call from 10:30-12:30 at the church.
