Marie J. Fox, age 85, a resident of Lastrup, MN, died April 2 at St. Mary's Villa in Pierz.

Marie J. Fox was born December 8, 1901 in Lastrup, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore and Catherine (Wolke) Ortman.

Survivors include two sons, John B. Fox of Cold Spring, MN, and James M. Fox of Little Falls; daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Mary Kay) Pankow and Mrs. Glenn (Geneve) Huerd both of Bloomington, MN, Mrs. Howard (Joan) Kuhn of Lastrup, Mrs. Ted (Carol) Killner of Devils Lake, North Dakota, Mrs. Bruce (Deborah) Kociemba of San Diego, CA; sisters, Mrs. Lavina Eich of Mpls, MN, Mrs. Dolores Kirk of Huron, SD; 28 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nicholas on October 31, 1977, one son, Fred, five brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held April 6 at St. John's Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lastrup, with the Rev. Athanase Fuchs officiating. Burial was in the St. John's Cemetery.
