Obituary
1924 - Mrs J E Delozier Died - At the home of her son, George Delozier, near Leesville, Saturday night at 11:25, after an illness of a little over a week with pneumonia. Deceased was born in Tennessee seventy-two years ago and came with her parents to Pettis County, seven miles near Windsor in 1856, where they lived until 1868, when they moved to Calhoun. About this time she was married to J E Delozier, who died three years ago. Her maiden name was America Alabama Julian. Nine children were given to this union. The following are living: Joe and George Delozier and Mrs Mary Raney, all of near Leesville; Will Delozier, of Clinton; Ray Delozier, of Kansas City. All were at her death bed. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Joe, George and Jim Julian of Clinton; John Julian, Appleton City; Mrs Martha Yandell, Sedalia; Mrs Mary Campbell, Denver, Colorado. Deceased was a good Christian woman and had been a member of the Tebo Baptist church since her early girlhood. Reverend Wynncoop, pastor of the Tebo church, preached her funeral at the Tebo church Monday morning. Burial in the cemetery nearby.
