Ralph Roberts, about 72, Emmetsburg, formerly of Rolfe, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, Feb. 12, at the Emmetsburg hospital. Mr. Roberts was taken ill while on the street. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Martins Funeral Home, Emmetsburg. Services will be held Friday, Feb. 15, at 10:00 a. m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Emmetsburg, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pocahontas.
Mr. Roberts is survived by the widow Regina, three sons, Don Roberts of Havelock, Bernard of Mason City and Gerald of Marshalltown, and a number of grandchildren. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Jerry Hotovec and Joe Sernett of Pocahontas and of James Sernett of Laurens.
