He was born October 22, 1911 in Panaca, Nevada to Earnest Taylor Gentry and Jennie Lemira Lee. He was born into a family of 10 children. He married Ada Thomas May 21, 1935. He lived in Rose Park and worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for many years. He had a quick smile and a hardy laugh and will be missed by all who passed his way.
He is survived ny his son, Doug who cared for him in Las Vegas, and his brothers, Bob Gentry(Katie), Burt Gentry (Thelma), and his sisters, Colleen Huntington(Bob), and Ivy Summerfield(Larry). He is proceded in death by his sweetheart, Ada; sisters, Lisle A. Casterline, Rosemon (Child) and Glory Mae; and a brother Alvin Lee.
