Barbara Jean Burk, 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Oneida, passed away August 24, 2008, at Medira Health Care in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born in Scott County, March 11, 1934.
She is survived by her mother, Bernis Burk of Norwood, Ohio; one brother, Norman L. Burk of Oneida; one sister, Murlene Brown of Norwood, Ohio; and many other relatives.
The family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 29, from 6 - 9 p.m., in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home. Local funeral service will be conducted Saturday, August 30, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Guy Ainsworth and Rev. Wayne King officiating. Music will be provided by Mary and Steve Hamby. Interment is to follow in West Cemetery.
