Emily was the third of five children born to Robert Glover and Fannie May Reed Peaden. She was a lively, fun loving person. Emma married Roy Anderson Light on November 6, 1921 in Jack County, Texas, and took to being a wife and mother to the couple's children: Sam, Dick, Margaret, and Billy Jack. After birthing complications, Emma died the day Billy Jack was born leaving husband Roy and four children missing her loving presence.
