FORT WORTH - Max Kaye, 85, who owned and operated an insurance agency with his wife, Cecile, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at an Alzheimer's Center.
Graveside service: 1 p.m. Monday in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery.
Rabbi Baruch Zeilicovich, officiating. Visitation: For religious reasons, Mr. Kaye will not lie in state. The family will be receiving friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Bodzy.
Memorials: Should friends desire, donations may be made in Mrs. Kaye's name to Congregation Ahavath Sholom or to a charity of choice.
Max Kaye was born Oct. 26, 1913, in Fort Worth. He was the son of Louis and Minnie Kantrovich.
His beloved wife, Cecile, preceded him in death Sept. 5, 1999. He was also preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lena Kantrovich, Frieda Kantrovich Stiles, Mary Kantrovich Straughn; and brother, Ben.
Survivors: Daughter, Linda Kaye of Fort Worth; son, Roger Kaye of Fort Worth; sister, Bessie Kantrovich Chodorow of Waco; brothers-in-law, Irving Bodzy and wife, Bessie, Victor Stiles of Fort Worth; sisters-in-law, Ann Bodzy Chodorow of Waco, Lola Bodzy Byers of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
