Victor, Fred J. –
Fred J. Victor, 40, of Prescott, was found dead in his wrecked automobile on an Adams county road between Prescott and Cromwell early Tuesday. His automobile had gone in to a deep ditch and turned over and Victor's body was found inside the car. It is believed that Victor suffered a heart attack while driving and the car left the road when he became unconscious. An investigation is to be made by the Adams county coroner. After the inquest the Adams county coroner stated that Victor had died from a broken neck. The accident occurred 2 miles east and a mile north of Prescott.

Fred Joseph Victor
Fred Joseph, son of Joseph and Mary Victor, was born on September 22, 1905 and passed away Tuesday morning September 17 in a car accident northeast of Prescott, at the age of 40 years, 11 months and 25 days.
He was united in marriage to Ruth Davis on May 31, 1928. They moved on the farm where they resided at the time of his death.
Fred was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Corning Commercial Club.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife Ruth, three sons, Donald Joseph, Wayne Frederick and Michael Douglas, His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Victor of Creston: one sister, Lillian Anderson of Corning: one brother, Raymond of Prescott: his aged grandmother, Mrs. Barbara Victor of Creston, also a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, September 19, at 2:00 o'clock in the Corning Federated Church, with interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Corning. Rev. Alfred E. Nelson was in charge of the services.
Pall bearers were Rex Sparr, Elmer Olive, Ed Morgan, Lloyd Rhoades, Mike Jennings and Melvin Riley. Music was rendered by Mrs. Russell Roland and John Riegel with Mary Maskers presiding at the organ.
