Mary Vonasek Victor was born in Czechoslovakia, August 4, 1877. The daughter of Joseph and Vera Kralik Vonasek and passed away May 26, 1978 at the Creston
Manor Care Center in Creston, Iowa, after suffering a stroke. She was married at Williamson, February 18, 1903, to Joseph F. Victor, who preceded her in death October 2, 1961.

Mrs. Victor had lived in Creston since 1937, moving from Adams County. She had lived with her daughter in Corning for the past two years until entering the care Center about two weeks before her death. She had been with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Anderson, in Florida during the winter.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. J. R. (Lillian) Anderson of Corning; a son, Ray Victor of Creston; seven grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren
and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Fred Victor; two sisters and two brothers. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic pariah. Funeral services were held May 30 at the Immaculate Conception Worship Center of the Holy Spirit Catholic pariah in Creston. The mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Arthur McCann and Rev. Fr. Thomas Coenen. Burial was in the Czechoslovakia National Cemetery at Williamson.

Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Ronnie Victor, Wayne Victor, Michael Victor, Donald J. Victor, Robert Embree and H. Jack Lynch. Memorials may be made for
the Creston Catholic Community School.
