JACKSONVILLE, March 10.—Funeral rites for Thurman Wallace of Craft were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Craft Baptist Church by the Rev. A. L. Meador of Ferris. Burial was in Providence Cemetery.
Wallace, 31, died Sunday at 4:25 p.m. in a local hospital here. Wallace was ill five days prior to death.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Lynn and Ronald, at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wallace of Craft; four brothers, Carl and Jewel Wallace of Camp Blanding, Fla., Vernon Wallace of Camp Wolters, Mineral Wells, and Roy Wallace of Craft.
Wallace's service station and grocery and home was recently completely destroyed by fire.
