'LA CROSSE TRIBUNE, Monday, July 9, 1928:
Langsford J. Ingalls, age 86 years, passed away at the home of his daughter Mrs. Ernest Baker, 1803 George street, Sunday morning.
He leaves to mourn his loss three sons: Samuel of Onalaska; Andrew of Red Wing, Minn., and Walter of Cayuga, Wis., two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Belle Rasmus of Trimbelle, Wis. and Mrs. Ernest Baker of La Crosse.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral parlors of Melford Nelson, 715 Rose street, Rev. H. R. Kinley will officiate and the body taken to Maiden Rock Wednesday for burial. Contributor: Mary Knothe Cooney (47367204)

Interesting fact, he was the brother of Charles and uncle of Laura Ingalls Wilder∼brother of Charles Ingalls, uncle of writer Laura Ingalls Wilder.
