Silas C. Cartwright died at his home in this town, Sunday evening, April 28, 1895, aged 65 years. The disease was pleuro-pneumonia. Mr. Cartwright had been ill for about three weeks. He was born in the town of Alfred and had lived in this town upwards of sixty years. He was a highly esteemed and much respected citizen. The funeral was held at the house yesterday afternoon, Rev. J. M. each officiating.
