Nellie Mae (Thomas) Swanson, age 89, died July 20, 1972.

Nellie was married to Charles Swanson. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1946.

Survivors include two sons, George (Alma) Swanson, Melvin (Donna) Swanson; six daughters, Lottie Roberts, Lila Barker, Helen (Nels) Nelson, Clara (John) Dietz, Irene (Walter) Hitt, and Florence (Herbert) Schroeder; and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nellie was preceded in death by four sons, Charles, Jr., Gene, Gordon and Marvin and a granddaughter, Mary Nelson.

Interment was in Hogarty Riverside Cemetery.
