MILTON — William John Anderson, 80, lifelong resident of Milton, died this morning in the
Dee Hospital in Ogden after short illness.
Mr. Anderson was a retiree farmer. He organized the Will Anderson orchestra and had been
a member since 1898: He had also been a carpenter and home builder and a custom grain thresher.
He was born Dec. 16, 1875, in Milton, a son of John and Gunhilda Gulbransen Anderson.
On Jan. 29, 1900, he married Lettie Gorder.
Surviving are his widow; one son, Wesley V. Anderson, Milton; a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Bessie)
Smith, Ogden; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Funeral
Chapel, 3408 Washington Blvd., Ogden, by Bishop Woodrow Giles of the LDS Milton
Ward.
Friends may call at the mortuary tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until services.
Burial will be in the Milton Cemetery.
