Harold Anderson of E. Bridgewater

EAST BRIDGEWATER - Harold W. Anderson, 71, husband of Marjorie I. F. (Berry) Anderson, died Tuesday at Brockton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born and educated in Brockton, son of the late August R. and Hedvig (Eden) Anderson, he had lived in East Bridgewater for 38 years.
Mr. Anderson had been employed as a machinist for the Brockton Machine Co. for 46 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of East Bridgewater.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three sons, Walter H. of West Bridgewater, Roy A. of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Roger B. Anderson of Carver; a daughter, Mrs. Brian (Linnea) Milligan of Hanson; 15 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Everett (Esther) Lundin of Brockton and Mrs. Frank (Lillian) Johnson of North Falmouth, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton. The Rev. Ralph Youngman of the Community Covenant Church of East Bridgewater will officiate. Burial will be in Central Cemetery.
