NORMA VELVA (FOX) NOEL OBITUARY: Norma Velva (Fox) Noel, 83, formerly of Norman died Sunday, Aug. 13. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson, Mo. Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Whelchel Funeral Home, Branson. Mrs. Noel was born April 23, 1923, to Eunice and Oscar Fox in Norman. She was a nurse aide in California and Missouri. She was also a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting and spending time with loved ones. She spent the last days of her life in her home in Noel, Mo., surrounded by friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Noel Sr.; children Bruce and Charla; granddaughter Jessica Leek; two brothers, Ray and Bill Fox; and two sisters, Lilly and Beulah. Survivors include daughters Karen Henderson and husband Jim of Clarksville, Tenn., and Lynnette Christie and husband David of Noel; two sons, Donald Noel Jr. and wife Nancy and Ronald Noel and wife Jana, all of Noel; brother-in-law Jerry Noel of El Dorado Springs, Mo.; sister-in-law Arlene Fox of Noble; 13 grandchildren, Shanna, Crystal, Cassan, Bryan, Ryan, Audriana, Miranda, Sharla, Jordan, Tyler, Tanner, Austin and Megan; great-grandchild Makenna; three nephews, Stanley, Clayton and Billy Fox of Norman; and many other relatives and friends.
