Don entered this life on July 30, 1957 in Santa Monica, California born to the union of the late Donald Lee Noel, Sr. and Norma Velva (Fox) Noel. He proudly served our country for 10 years in the United States Navy. Don worked as an electric engineer on the U.S. Kitty Hawk. He moved to Noel, Missouri 25 years ago coming from Branson, Missouri. Don worked in Maintenance for Simmons's Poultry Plant in Southwest City, Missouri for 9 years. He married Nancy Hall on February 5, 1993 at Miami, Oklahoma. Don loved Kansas City Chiefs, James Bond, and fishing. Above all he loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Jessie Leek.
Don is survived by his wife, Nancy Noel of the home; four children, Cassan Noel of Berryville, Arkansas, Miranda Noel of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tanner and Megan Noel of the home; a brother, Ron Noel of Noel, Missouri; two sisters, Karen Henderson of Clarksville, Tennessee, Lynette Christie of Noel, Missouri; a grandson, Layne Plummer and three other grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Don.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri with Ryan Crawford officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Tanner Noel, Ricky Lester, Sean Plummer, Tyler Noel, Ryan Noel, Cassan Noel. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Neal, Mark Weiney and Lee Sanders.
