Woodrow Wilson Futrell, 95 died Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Greene Acres Nursing Home. He was born on October 20, 1912 in Greene County to Daniel and Eliza Jane Futrell. He was a businessman and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers, four sisters and his first wife Elizabeth Clark Futrell whom he married on May 21, 1933.
He is survived by his wife; Verda Raines Futrell, two daughters and sons-in-law; Patricia and Alfred Rowe, Melinda and Larry Brinkley all of Paragould, one step-son and step daughter-in-law; John and Beverly Raines of Tucson, Arizona, seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 P.M. Friday evening at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Art Smith officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday with family and friends gathered at Morrow Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons; Tim Rowe, Woody Rowe, Garth Brinkley, Micah Brinkley, Keith White and Chuck Palmer. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Gatlin, Max Higgins, Victor Rowe and Dennis Raines.
