Mrs. Elsie M. Kugel, 85, of Washington, Kansas, died today, Tuesday, Feb.8, 1977, in Jefferson County Memorial Hospital at Fairbury. Recently she had resided in a nursing home here and in the hospital. Her husband, Henry, died in Dec. 1974, and three children, Wayne, LaVern, and Margaret, preceded her in death. Surviving are her four sons, Edward, Loren, and Marvin Kugel, all of Fairbury, and Harry of Central, Ill., daughter Lenora, Mrs. Harold Staley of Fairbury, 28 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be in Grace Lutheran Church at 2:00 Friday afternoon with Pastor Norman Bangert officiating. Memorials established to the Lutheran Radio Broadcast and Martin Luther Home. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
