Loyd Kenneth 'Kenny' Duncan, 71, of Boonville, died January 26, 2006 at the Columbia Regional Hospital in Columbia. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday January 30, 2006 at the Community of Christ Church 1610 Radio Hill Rd. Boonville with Rev. Roger McMurray officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the William Wood Funeral Home in Boonville. Burial will be in the Old Lamine Cemetery near Boonville. Pallbearers will be Kurt Duncan, Brent Duncan, Dale Allen Duncan, Chris Duncan, Terry Dockins and Larry Dale Felton. Honorary Pallbearers are Ronnie Duncan, Roy Duncan, Bill Burks, R.B. Schlotzhauer, Junior Cleeton and J.B. Andrews.

Kenny was born July 17, 1934 at Spring Creek, Mo. the son of James and Stella Dean Duncan. On October 30, 1959 he was united in marriage to Betty J. Bledsoe of New Franklin, Mo.

Mr. Duncan worked as a heavy equipment operator and retired from the union Local #513.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, James, Lawrence, John, Dean and Chester.

Kenny will be greatly missed by his surviving family, which includes his wife of 46 years, Betty Duncan of the home; two sons, Larry and Lonnie Duncan both of Boonville; two grandchildren, Joella Duncan of Los Angeles, Calif. and Lauren Duncan of Boonville; six step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Also surviving are three brothers, Leo Duncan of Tuscumbia, Mo., Walter Duncan of Versailles, Mo. and Dale Duncan of Crocker, Mo.
