Graveside funeral services for Lloyd Ray Payne, 60, Valliant, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at the Kosoma Cemetery, Moyers, with Bro. Hershel Reed officiating. Miller & Miller Funeral Home, Valliant, is in charge of arrangements.
Payne died July 27, 2008. He was born Sept. 2, 1947, in Portland Ore., the son of Joshway and Fran-cis Payne and had lived most of his life in Valliant after his military service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his father and one grandson, Kyle Mackey. Survivors include one daughter, Dawn Rae Mackey of Copan, Okla.; his mother, Frances Payne of Valliant; two sisters, Sharon Kay Hunter and Carolyn Jean Townsend, both of Valliant; three brothers, Floyd Dean Payne, Boyd Lee Payne and Doyle Jay Payne, all of Valliant; and two grandsons.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the fu-neral home.
