BOYD PAYNE
December 14, 1956 ~ July 4, 2021
Boyd Payne, age 64, of Valliant, passed from this life on Sunday July 4, 2021.
Boyd Lee Payne was born December 14, 1956, in Bartlesville, OK the son of Joshway Payne and Frances (Beam) Payne.
Boyd served his country in the United States Navy. After returning from the service, Boyd moved to the Valliant area. He married Barbara Powell on August 15, 1980, in Houma, LA.
Boyd loved traveling to Alaska, especially with his wife Barbara. He enjoyed watching sports, was an avid turkey and deer hunter, enjoyed fishing and had a real love for music. Most importantly enjoyed being with his family.
Boyd is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Payne, his parents, Josh and Frances Payne, two brothers, Loyd and Floyd Payne, and sister, Sharon Payne.
Boyd leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Curtis Payne and wife, Jill of Bells, TX; Edward Eugene Payne of Valliant, OK; grandchildren, Connor, Canyon, CJ., Sophia, Olivia, EJ, Dakoata, and Montana Payne; great grandson, Stryker Payne; brother, Doyle Payne of Valliant; sister, Carolyn Townsend of Millerton, along with many loved family and friends.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Miller & Miller Funeral Home, Valliant, with The Rev. Jim Townsend officiating. Interment followed at Kosoma Cemetery.
