Dollie Ree Clemmons 87 of Glasgow, died Saturday Aug. 9, 2008 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late James Isaac and Ortelie Davis Dyer. Mrs. Clemmons was a homemaker and a member of the Siloam Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 sons, Carrel Glen Clemmons, Jr. and wife Carol of Jonesboro, GA, James L. Clemmons and wife Diane of Glasgow and Tony R. Clemmons and wife Jackie of Glasgow; 9 grandchildren Jennifer (Matt) McCarren, Michael Clemmons, Candice (Mark) Curlee, Todd (Ruth) Clemmons, Julie (Patrick) Phelps, Jon Michael (Stephanie) Clemmons, Brian Clemmons and fiancée Lynne Gentry, Matthew (Jackie) Clemmons and Spencer (Jennifer) Clemmons; 11 great-grandchildren Matthew Curlee, Josh Clemmons, Mandy Clemmons, Jesse Clemmons, Colton Phelps, McKarley Phelps, Trista Phelps, Brier Phelps, Berkley Clemmons, Anne Claire Clemmons and Waylon Clemmons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carrel Glen Clemmons, a great grandson Lincoln Phelps, 5 brothers Gene, Carlie, Willie, Jessie and Wilson Dyer and 3 sisters Bertie Bailey, Georgia Dicken and an infant twin sister.
Burial was in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
