JAMES D. ADKINS, 55, of East Liverpool, husband of Thelma J. Adkins, died Sunday in East Liverpool. He was an employee of American Steel, Alliance. Additional survivors include his mother, Delphia Ferrell Adkins of Hamlin, W.Va; four daughters, Sheila Sage, Crystal Baker and Wendi Adkins, all of East Liverpool, and Jennifer Pucci of Industry, Pa; four brothers, Harold Adkins, Ralph Adkins, Donald Adkins and Robert Adkins, all of Hamlin; and two sisters, Freda Adkins and Delores Adkins, both of East Liverpool. Funeral 1 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church, Sias, W.Va; burial in Walker Adkins Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin.
