Marceline D. Little, 85, formerly of Canton died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday April 12, 1987 at Pleasant View Luther Home, Ottawa.

She was born Nov.11, 1901, in Canton, the daughter of James and Mary (Cook) Shields. She married Ray D. Little, March 5, 1924 in Canton. He died Nov. 15, 1965.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Ray Little of Canton, Robert J. Little of Ottawa and Paul K. Little of Summerville, S.C.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton, where she had the longest membership, joining the church in 1910. She was past president of VFW Auxiliary. She was a former post mistress of Middlegrove and member of Farmington Order of the Eastern Star.

Services will be at 1p.m. Wednesday at Oaks Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Steve Baker, officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
