Summerville, S.C. - Paul Little, 77, of Summerville, S.C., died Thursday (Nov. 29, 2007) after a brief illness.

Born Feb. 17, 1930, at Canton, the son of Ray and Marceline D'Etta (Shields) Little, he married Harriett Clare Sinkler. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Rodger Alan (Elaine) Little of Lehigh Acres, Fla., and Maj. Paul K. (Tina) Little II with the U.S. Marine Corps in Okinawa, Japan; one daughter, Catherine Sue (Dave) Roger of Peoria: six grandchildren, Amanda Lynn Burdin, Stacy Rose(Wilson) Mitcham, Nicole Ann Little, Samantha Ashley Duncan, Connor Jacob Little, and Kenneth Ray Little; two brothers, Donald Ray (Gladys) Little of Canton and Robert Jackson (Marcia) Little of Ottawa; and one brother-in-law, William Henry (Cathie) Sinkler of Eutawville, S.C.

He graduated from Canton High School and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He graduated from the Citadel in 1970, after which he worked as a wildlife biologist and was for many years a Licensed General Contractor. After retiring, he became a tree farmer and a collector of antique tractors. He was active in civic affairs in Dorchester County, and was a member of The Church of the Epiphany in Eutawville.

Services were held Dec. 8. Visitation was held Dec. 7. Following the service, the family received guests at the Ministry Center at his church for a Celebration of Little's Life. Tri County Cremation Center of Summerville was in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Operation Smile, 6435 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, VA 23509, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
