Bernadine A. Loidolt, 92 year old resident of Pierz, MN passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN, at 10:30 A.M., with Father Kenneth Popp officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 4:00-7:00 P.M., at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Pierz, and again on Wednesday from 9:00-10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. St. Joseph's Christian Mothers and the Pierz American Legion Auxillary will say a rosary at 3:30 P.M., on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Caring for Bernadine and her family is the Shelley Funeral Chapel of Pierz.

Bernadine A. Athman was born on January 12, 1931, in Morrison County, MN, to the late Katherine Ellering and Bernard Athmann. She grew up in the Pierz/Lastrup area where she attended school. Bernadine was united in marriage on September 11, 1951, to Raymond L. Loidolt at St. John's Catholic Church in Lastrup, MN. From 1947-1952, she worked at Munsingwear in Little Falls, MN, and then worked at Pierz Healy High School from 1968-1995 as a cook. She retired in December of 1995. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, St. Joseph's Christian Women and Pierz American Legion Auxillary.

Bernadine is survived by her 3 daughters and 2 sons; 2 brothers; 1 sister; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; brothers, Norbert, Irwin, Coelestin, Virgil, and Alex Athman; sisters, Marie Banach, Evelyn Branson, and Irene Gaebel; grandson, Shawn Grittner; son in law, Todd Banick; and infant brother, Victor.
