M. Fest Coleman was a dentist and lived in Augusta, Ga., with his wife Esther Carlsen Coleman and their only child, M. Ferst Coleman, Jr., who was known as Laddie. M. Ferst Coleman died very tragically in a house fire that occurred while he was sleeping. He was the only one at home when this happened.
