Euna Ethelene Isbell, 89, passed from her earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 7, 2008. Services will be Monday, August 11th at the Trinity Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2nd St.

Viewing will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Isbell was born June 7, 1919 in Stamford, TX to Lilly Mae and John Edward Skiles. She was a longtime resident of Abilene where she worked for the Abilene school district and as an aide at Hendrick Hospital. She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 63 years; five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her three children, Sam Isbell of Clyde, Kay Pfeiffer and husband, Karl, of Kingwood, TX and Judy Cooley and husband, Troy, of Canton, TX; five grandchildren, Teri, Scott, Kent, Jamie and Sara; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
