Frances "Fanny B. Beets was born on 15 May 1862 in Jackson County, Missouri and died on 17 February 1927 in Jackson County, Missouri. She married Henry Vaughan on 18 November 1886 in Jackson County. They had 3 children, Jessie, Hugh Washington and Frank "Charles" Vaughn.

Mrs. Fannie Vaughan, 64 years of age, died at her home on
Lexington Road, near Ripley at 4 o'clock yesterday evening. Two sons, Frank Vaughan and Hugh Vaughan of the home Address, and a brother, G.W. Beets, survive hr. Her husbanddied in 1908. The funeral will be at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at Atherton Church. The Rev. C. T. Wallace will conduct the services. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
