Morton, IL - Jeff Barham, 63, of 18831 Chaffer Road, Morton, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 29, 1944, in Peoria, Ill., a son of Earl and Phyllis LeRoy Barham. He married Janice Eissing on Nov. 26, 1980, in Peoria, Ill. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Phyllis Barham of Eureka; three sons, Scott (Amy) Barham of Dunlap, Aaron Barham of Mackinaw and Matthew Hartter of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Shannon (Tim) Mull of Mackinaw and Josie Barham of Morton; six grandchildren; and one brother, Ron (Karen) Boone of Chillicothe.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Jeff was a superintendent at the East Peoria Caterpillar Plant HH for 43 1/2 years.

He was a member of the Hilton Lodge No. 1143 in East Peoria.

He was an Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

Private burial will be in the Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, where military rites will be accorded.
