James Floyd Grubb, 95, of Bloomington, died Monday at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Dec. 10, 1904, in Monroe County, he was the son of William Jackson and Millie Jane (May) Grubb.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Eastview Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include three daughters, Beulah Crouch, Gladys Gilliland and Gwendolyn Goodwin, all of Bloomington; three sons, Kenneth Grubb and James I. Grubb, both of Spencer, and Walter Grubb of Stinesville; one brother, Norval Grubb of Bloomington; three sisters, Neva Fishel, Florence Waldrip and Rada Deckard, all of Bloomington; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha (Cain) Grubb, in 1989; an infant son; three sisters, Noma Arthur, Charlotte Brown and Flocie Kent; and two brothers, Lloyd Grubb and Roscoe Elkins.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home with the Revs. Richard Miller and Richard Burdette officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
