Guy K. Chambers - Waterloo -- Guy K. Chambers, 76, of RD 2, died yesterday morning at his home following an extended illness. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Junius Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Richard Haynes will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at their home on Dublin Road, Saturday afternoon, Memorial contributions may be made to the North Seneca Ambulance or one's favorite charity.

Mr. Chambers was born in Geneva and was a life resident of this area. He was the son of William and Grace Roberts Chambers. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army. He was retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Co. He was a member of Junius Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Mrs. Gail DeSarro of Sierra Madre, Calif., and Mrs. Diane Appel of Ontario; three sons, Kirk of Owego, William and Mark, both of Waterloo; one sister, Mrs. Deedrick (Fern) Mathews of Waterloo; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by the DeVaney Funeral Home. (Geneva Times, September 27, 1983)
