E.J. Pool, for 20 years a resident of Klamath county, died yesterday morning at his home in Hildebrand. Death due to pneumonia. The funeral services were held here this afternoon. Edler S.D. Harlan, Pastor of the Christian church conducted the service.
Mr. Pool has been long in the mercantile business in Klamath county. After conducting a store at Lorella for several years, he moved to Hildebrand about a year ago and has been operating a store there. Deceased is survived by seven children, four boys and three girls. He was a native of Van Buren, Iowa and was 62 years of age.
