At Pine Grove Saturday, September 2, 1899, Mrs. Sarah Jane Pool, aged 47 years, died.
Mrs. Pool had been an invalid for the past three years and for the past year has been in Medford under the care of physicians, but returned to this county about six weeks ago.
She leaves a husband, Emanuel J. Pool, seven children; two brothers, Charles and J.R. Faith of Jackson County and three sisters, Mrs. B.S. Gribsby and Mrs. N.S. Drew, and Miss Kitty Faith of Skagway, Alaska, and a large circle of friends to mourn her death.
