CHANUTE -- Victoria A. Quintana, 85, of Chanute died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at the Via-Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita.

She was born Dec. 23, 1922, in Chanute to Nicholas and Lenore (Villiesenor) Alonzo.

She is survived by two sons, Ruben and Ed, both of Wichita; a daughter, Estela of Wichita; and five grandchildren, Josue Quintana, Jason Quintana, Monique Quintana, Sean Stewart and Olivia Quintana, all of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan; her parents; five sisters and four brothers, Refugio (Mary Cuca) Marquez, Juanita Cabrera, Domatila Gonzales, Belen Savedra, Grace Alonzo, Refugio Alonzo, Anthony Alonzo, Rapheal Alonzo and John Alonzo.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Chanute with the Rev. Robert Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's School Building Fund and may be left with Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel in Chanute.
