He was a hard worker, working from a farmers laborer to Picking Cotton on a Cotton Plantation beside his mother and other siblings in Stamps, Arkansas. He started working from the age of 10 to 21 on the Farm or Cotton Fields. During his young age, time was hard and they had to do what ever they could to survive.
When he was 22, he enlisted in the Navy on 21 August 1942 in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Serving his Country in WORLD WAR II. His occupation in the Navy was Semi-skilled engineers, Stationary.
In 1944 he married Myrtle Isabelle Locklear in Orange County, Florida. Among them they had 3 children, Marjorie Alice, Donald Monroe, and Sharon Elizabeth Sisk.
Dale with only a Grammar School education did good with his life. After serving his County, he settled in Cocoa, Florida, where he started working for the Coca Cola Bottling Company. He retired from this Company as a Cooler Manager after 36 years of loyal service.
He had a heart of gold, if you ask me. I had never meet a more Sweet, Kind, and loving person as he was. He loved his family with all he had and more. Rest in Peace, Uncle Dale. We all love and miss you.
