GEORGE UHRINE DIES WEDNESDAY
George Louis Uhrine, 48, a resident of Algoma where he was employed as a carpenter for the Algoma lumber company for the last 16 years, died in this city Wednesday night after an illness of three weeks.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows, Rebekahs and Modern Woodmen of American lodges. Mr Uhrine came to this county 19 years ago. He was born in Sartoria, Nebraska on May 8, 1883 and was aged 48 years, 2 months and 21 days at the time of death.
He is survived by his widow, Minnie Uhrine; two daughters, Goldie and Amy; a son, Clarence; three brothers, Henry of Algoma, Frank and John of this city; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Dehm, Pine Ridge; Mrs. Anna Black; Mack, Colo.; Mrs. Nettie Clancey, Brick, Okla (sic); and Ada Uhrine, Denver Colo.
Remains are in the care of the Earl Whitlock Funeral Home. Funeral announcement will be made later.

Final Rites For G. L. Uhrine Held
Funeral services for George Louis Uhrine, Algoma, resident who died in a local hospital Thursday, were conducted at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Earl Whitlock funeral chapel. Officers of the Canton and ladies' auxiliary, Crater No. 7, Odd Fellows and Rev. A. O. Broyles, former pastor of the Immanuel Baptist church, conducted final rites.
The Canton, military organization of the Odd Fellows, and the auxiliary attended in full uniform and marched in military formation from the funeral chapel to the cemetery where burial was made in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Pall bearers were Canton members.
Many floral tributes filled the chapel and were banked about the grave.
