Mrs. Ada Christian Dies; Rosary Wednesday
Mrs. Ada C. Christian, 3307 Virginia Ave., died Monday at a local hospital. She had been a resident of Colorado Springs since 1957 and was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Mrs. Christian was born in Oberlin, La., Jan. 7, 1897. She resided in Optimo, N.M., for a number of years, then moved to Denver, where she made her home from 1929 until she came to Colorado Springs. She is survived by a son, Jess Christian, Denver; four daughters, Pearl Wengert, Wagon Mound, N.M., Mrs. Alma Webb, Denver; Mrs. Irma Hays, Colorado Springs, and Mrs. Lorraine Saxton; a brother, Frank Uhrine, Klamath Falls, Ore,; a sister, Nettie Clancy, Houston, Tex., 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Rosary services will be hel at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Chapel of Memories. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Denver.
