Services for Martha E. Jenkins Chevalier will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2006 in Amiable Baptist Church with Rev. Dewayne Davis officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery, McNary under the direction of John Kramer & Son.

Martha E. Chevalier, age 98, of Glenmora, died Monday, October 23, 2006 in Naomi Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alious R. "Pee Wee" Chevalier, Sr.; grandson, Richard Grady Chevalier; and great-grandson, Mitchell Carter, Jr.

Martha Chevalier is survived by one son, Alious R. Chevalier, Jr. of Glenmora; four daughters, Ina Faye Ganson of Glenmora, Barbara Farmer of Hineston, Linda Carter of Glenmora and Sue Ramsey of DeRidder; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marty Wolf, Michael Johnson, Nathan Chevalier, Joel Davis, Richard Carter and John Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Watson, Adam Carter, Daniel Carter, John Allen Carter, Chris Chevalier and Dayton Maricle.
