Funeral services for Ms. Linda Pearl Chevalier Carter will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015 in Amiable Baptist Church, Glenmora, with Reverends John Rayburn and DeWayne Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Butter Cemetery, Forest Hill.
Ms. Carter, 74, of DeRidder entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 2, 2015 in Ochsner Hospital, New Orleans.
Ms. Carter was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alious and Martha Chevalier; her husband, James C. Carter; one brother, A.R. “Peewee” Chevalier, JR.; one sister, Ina Faye Ganson and one grandson, James M. Carter, Jr.
