Funeral services will be held for Charles Lindell Walls, 24, Route 1, Grant, at the Free Home Baptist Church near Grant at 2 p.m. today. The services will be conducted by Chaplain John Simpson of Redstone Arsenal. Burial will be in the Free Home Cemetery. Butler Brothers Funeral Home will have charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Walls died apparently of a heart attack at a Post Engineers dance held Friday night at Redstone Arsenal.
He is survived by his father, R. L. Walls, Route 1, Grant; five brothers, Robert L. Walls Jr., Rex Walls, Jerald Walls, all of Chattanooga, Tenn., Newman Lee Walls, Grant, and Leon Walls, New Hope; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Barkley, Mrs. Haskell Perry, Mrs. Josephine Hornbuckle, all of Chattanooga, Mrs. Oscar Bright, Grant.
