Royce Walls, 18, son of Robert L. Walls, died from head injuries received when his auto struck a truck Friday night near the Madison County-Marshall County line. He was dead on arrival at the Huntsville Hospital.
Funeral services for the youth will be held today at 1 p.m. from the Free Home Baptist Church near Grant with interment in the church cemetery. Butler Brothers Funeral Home will be in charge.
Besides the father, he is survived by six brothers, Robert L. Walls, Rex R. Walls and Jerald Walls, all of Chattanooga, Lindell and Newman Walls of Grant, and Leon Walls of New Hope; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Barkley and Mrs. Pauline Pair of Chattanooga, Mrs. Katherine Wright of Grant and Mrs. Josephine Hornbuckle of Birmingham.
