Herbert L AndCeerson of Clarkston, a former Potlatch Corp employee for 42 years, died Friday at the Tri-State Convalescent Centr of the infirmities of age. Anderson, 74, had lived at 1536 8th St in Clarkston for 44 years.

He retired from the Potlatch Corp in 1970. He was born June 23, 1904 in Harris, Minn. and later lived in Dalkena, Wash. before moving to Clarkston in 1928. He married the former Rose T Snyder at Coeur d'Alene, in 1925; she died in 1975.

Anderson is survived by three daughters, Jeanette Ellis, Laura Rose Evans and Karen Barth, all of Clarkston; three brothers, Aaron and Tennie of Reseda, Calif., and Harold of Visalia, Calif., and by three sisters, Marie Walters of California, Myrtle Sandquist of Cambridge, Mass., and Ethel Olsen of Cloquet, Minn. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Merchant Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, followed by interment at Vineland Cemetery.
