GEORGE ANSON LIVES BUT TWENTY MINUTES AFTER BEING TAKEN ILL.
George Anson died very suddenly while at work in his shop yesterday afternoon of heart disease. Mr. Anson was feeling quite well during the forenoon and did not complain of any change until about 20 minutes before his death. He was a brother of Harry Anson and lived with his mother at 136 Carroll Street. Mr. Anson was 50 years of age and had lived in Akron all his life. He is well known through out thye city and was quite popular with his associates. The funeral services will be held from the house 2 p.m. Thursday. (End of print).
George "Frank" Anson was the son of Mary Jane (Barriball) Anson-Erasmus and the late Henry Anson and the step-son of Timothy Erasmus.
Mr. Anson is located on the 1870 and 1880 Summit County, Akron, Ohio census, along with his mother and step-father. He had worked for the railroad.

The ERASMUS name is on one side of the monument along with the year 1877, the year it was placed in the cemetery. It has family names inscribed on all sides.
