Henry W. "Harry" Anson of 228 Carroll Street, Akron, Ohio, died on July 30, 1914. He was the son of Henry and Mary Jane (Barriball) Anson, born in January of 1849.

Interment was at Glendale Cemetery.

Survivors included his wife, Sarah R. Anson and his daughter, Mary Francis Anson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Anson and Mary Jane (Barriball) Anson-Erasmus; his brother, George "Frank" Anson; his step-father, Timothy Erasmus; his maternal grandparents William and Hepizbah Barriball.

Harry and Sarah married in 1891. The following year, Mary Francis Anson was born on September 1, 1892. Mary Francis Anson was his only child and heir to Harry's estate.

As of this date, a record cannot be found for a marriage or burial of Mary Francis Anson. She did receive a passport to travel abroad with friends.

Akron newspaper, January 2, 1903: "Harry Anson has announced that he will be a candidate for the nomination for auditor on the Republician ticket at the spring primaries."
